The Space

CALL FOR PAPERS for the 2013 issue of The Space

The Space graduate journal welcomes papers for its second issue to be published in 2013. We are interested in contributions on a wide range of topics that introduce a sense of interdisciplinarity and challenge the dominant framing of knowledge.

The Space graduate journal is a peer-reviewed international, multilingual journal that aims at providing a space for research dealing with the broadly defined humanities and social sciences and employing a variety of methodological approaches. We invite papers encompassing the following disciplines: anthropology, art history, cultural studies, development studies, economics, gender studies, history, literary studies, media studies, philosophy, political science and sociology. As an independent and open-access undertaking, the Space acts as an open and subjectivising space for sharing ideas, questions and reserach results, and continuing learning inside and outside institutions.

For this issue of The Space we are seeking articles and critical essays of 4000-8000 words with a 150-word abstract and maximum 10 keywords included in the manuscript. Additionally, we are accepting reviews of recently published books, which should be between 1000 and 1500 words in length. We welcome papers in all languages to be submitted online by 31 March 2013.

For details on how to submit to The Space, please see Online Submissions and Author Guidelines on our website:
